Dear Readers, Fellow Travelers, and The Merely Curious,
Some time ago, when I was younger, I picked out the name Star Cat for myself. But I never used it. Don’t exactly know why. But now, as an act of empowerment for an earlier, so-introverted self, I reclaim it. I’m a Star Cat!
So what does that mean?
Being into symbols, I like the image of the star as a point of light illuminating the darkness. Thus have I offered my light to the world. I’m accomplished. My shine has earned me Star status professionally. But I haven’t stopped. I’m always learning new things and will always find new ways to shine, to reach for the stars. I have a lot to offer my clients.
I happen to love cats–the elegant lines of their bodies, the shape of their curves and the way they move. My creative muse is in the form of a cat. Introverts get along with cats because we are quiet enough to communicate with each other on a different level. I think it has to do with brain wave frequencies.
In many respects, I’m cat-like–sharing traits that seem to be both endearing and infuriating at the same time. I’m a Leo. In my work, I’m very good with detail and nuance. I’m also capable of widening my focus to survey how those minute details fit in with the larger picture.
In his songs, David Bowie referred to people as “cats.” How cool is that? So maybe I’m just a cat catching a star to swing on…
…a Star Cat!
